I am writing a history of Dukinfield C & W Works from it's opening in 1910 to the present
day.
The site is owned by Kenmore Holdings (Parker International) and was taken over from the railways
one bay at a time as they became vacant.

I am still working at Parker International after 26 years
Now I am a Warehouse Manager due to retire
in 4 years
When I hope to finish my book

I strarted working at Parkers in 1969 in what was the Foundry now called Unit 1
My first job was
driving a overhead crane controlled from the floor,that was in the Export Packing depatment packing
machinery for export all over the world
